We’re constantly bombarded from all sides in this busy, broken world. We get up to our necks with stress and hassle, and that’s the plan for the Evil One. Distract us. Beat us up. Make us feel out of control. AND to make it worse, he knows our weakest points!
If God’s plan for us is to NOT worry, how are we supposed to have inner peace in all this turmoil?
When we prepare ourselves for battle!

Trauma Healing Ministry will Post Additional Session Dates Soon
The American Bible Society offers a program to support people who have experienced trauma in their lives. Psychologist Dr. Gay Killion of Open Range is coordinating and administering this service for us!
The ministry will meet at Open Range: 509 W. Lone Jack/Lee’s Summit Road (map link) Lone Jack, Missouri, 64070.
Background about the program, as well as its scope and intent, is discussed in this recent interview Dr. Killion had with Pastor Tony Nunn.
First Tuesday of the month, 7:00pm.
Join us as we gather to pray for God’s intercession in the church, for our leaders and for our nation.
Our schedules are already filled with activities and it’s hard to find space for another. But it’s helpful to note that all that busy-ness in our own strength cannot compare to the advantage God’s help can provide through prayer.
And don’t worry about not knowing what to pray for or which words to use. The Holy Spirit moves each of us in our own way.
Meetings on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays each month, running from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm.
