Winter Wednesday Night Study: “Jesus the One and Only”

Wednesday Evenings at 7:00pm

Join Dave and Sue Herriman in the study of the book of Luke.

The series will run from Jan. 10th to March 14th on Wednesday nights — 6:30 fellowship, 7:00 start — with an hour video then 20-30 minutes of discussion. Companion workbooks can be ordered for $16 before the study begins: contact Dave or Sue.

“Jesus the One and Only” and is about 10 years old. Shot in multiple locations in Israel, it helps depict the real history and life of Jesus’ traveling, teaching, and His sacrificial end.

LifeWay’s Description:

Based primarily on the Book of Luke, this study is a careful examination of the life of Christ. You will be introduced to to an intimate Savior as you get a close-up and personal portrait of the life of Jesus the Messiah. You’ll see Jesus come to a funeral and raise the dead, confront conniving religious leaders, teach on a hillside, and even walk on the waves.”

Volunteers Needed

Volunteering is a blessing on its own! Many people pitch in to help with church activities occur because they’re so grateful for the love of God and the sacrifice Jesus made for them on the cross. Open Range periodically needs help in a few areas, and while some tasks may seem unfamiliar, with your willing heart we can train you in whichever area you feel led to support!

Currently ORF needs people in the following areas:

  • TechTeam (helping to show prepared PowerPoint files during the services).
  • Kids’ Church (assist current leaders who show and teach Bible lessons).
  • Greeters (meet people coming in before Saturday and Sunday services).

Contact the church office by phone (816-697-2002) or by emailing office@openrangefellowship.com or techteam@openrangefellowship.com

Let’s Pray

First Tuesday of the month, 7:00pm.

B&W_cowboy praying_verticalJoin us as we gather to pray for God’s intercession in the church, for our leaders and for our nation.

Our schedules are already filled with activities and it’s hard to find space for another. But it’s helpful to note that all that busy-ness in our own strength cannot compare to the advantage God’s help can provide through prayer.

And don’t worry about not knowing what to pray for or which words to use. The Holy Spirit moves each of us in our own way.
