The Ultimate Dare to Love - Part 1 (Supernatural Love)
Pastor Frank Slaughter begins a new series and will be encouraging us to capture the love, peace, and power of Jesus, which comes from the depth, wisdom, and knowledge of God! These aspects come alive through our hearing and seeing, but also speaking and participating. Use these tools and go to battle for the Lord!
Come to the Table
Come to the Table
Pastor Tony Nunn helps us compare the lives and effort surrounding the 12 apostles with our fragmented and busy lives today. The doubt and disbelief they held back then is just as true now. But we need to trust Jesus - he's the real deal, forgiving us once and for all!
Because of the Resurrection
Because of the Resurrection
Guest Pastor Doug Brown recounts some of the facts and fallout surrounding the sacrifice of Jesus. And the effects of His death still echo today! Many people young and old have no hope today, grasping at thin air for concrete meaning and direction. Consider that the broken pieces throughout today's world are actually falling into place! Christ will make all things new.
Two Processions on Palm Sunday
Two Processions on Palm Sunday
Pastor Joe White details another event that happened at the time of Jesus' Palm Sunday arrival in Jerusalem. That man, who appointed himself "son of god" had another, worldly goal: demanding attention and respect only for himself! Jesus came as a man of peace, not one of forceful domination. Do you have the peace He offers?
Please Remain C.A.L.M, Part 4
Please Remain C.A.L.M, Part 4
Pastor Frank concludes his series with a reassurance that our peace comes from Jesus alone! We should “Meditate” on what is unseen, for that is where our faith is focused. If we try to fill our lives with anything else we’ll fail. Connect with Jesus to weather the storms in our “anxiety society.”
Please Remain C.A.L.M, Part 3
Please Remain C.A.L.M, Part 3
Pastor Frank continues with part 3, telling us to "Leave" It" at the foot of the cross! Failures, poor choices, our broken paths, shame, gossip, and even doubt - all these things should be given over to God. We'll experience and enjoy a peace of God - which surpasses all understanding.
Please Remain C.A.L.M, Part 2
Please Remain C.A.L.M, Part 2
Pastor Frank continues with part two, in which he details the "Ask" portion of C.A.L.M. How do we ask God for peace, comfort, direction or favor? Prayer - our ongoing connection to the Lord! Give your troubles to Him, while giving thanks for His grace and mercy.
Please Remain C.A.L.M, Part 1
Please Remain C.A.L.M, Part 1
Pastor Frank Slaughter begins a 4-part series to focus on one of the primary benefits of following Jesus: PEACE! Social media and constant TV news help fuel the fires of our fear, distracting and pulling us away from truth. Jesus is the one who can calm our storms!!
The Tabernacle, Conclusion
The Tabernacle, Conclusion
Pastor Frank concludes his series with a summary of the Tabernacle pieces, then focuses on the preparation surrounding the Mercy Seat. The sacrifice of Jesus gave us the right to be "sons of the father", as He was obedient to the very end!
The Tabernacle, Part 6
The Tabernacle, Part 6
Pastor Frank Slaughter introduces additional details regarding the inner parts of the Tabernacle, including the veil which separated us from the Holy of Holies. The ark itself served as the mercy seat, as well as the container for some of the most significant objects in Christianity.
The Tabernacle, Part 5
The Tabernacle, Part 5
Pastor Frank continues with additional highlights surrounding the Tabernacle symbolism and its significance as a way for us to connect to God. Be on guard in this world though, for "strange incense" or "fire" which would dilute or divert us from appealing to the divine word of God. We must pray using sincerity and without tainted motives, because our requests go in the name and authority of Jesus!
The Tabernacle, Part 4
The Tabernacle, Part 4
Pastor Frank continues his series by highlighting additional features and significance surrounding the Tabernacle, including the Showbread table. Twelve loaves signified the 12 tribes of Israel at the time, all made from the same dough. Our unity though and in Him still proves today that He is worthy of our praise! The Lord is omnipresent and omnipotent: Jesus is the One and Only!
